Welcome to VanWest College

We’re excited to support you as you begin your academic journey in Canada. To help you transition smoothly, we’ve prepared an orientation that will introduce you to the college, local life, and all the support available to you!

Orientation Details

  • Date & Time: Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a Holiday)
    Vancouver: 9:30 AM
    Kelowna: 10:00 AM
  • Location: 200-1016 Nelson Street, Vancouver, BC || 104-532 Leon Ave., Kelowna, BC
  • Duration: Approximately 1 hour
  • What to Bring: Passport, Study Permit, Health Insurance

Check-In: Please report to the Front Desk upon arrival

  • Settle into life at VanWest and in Canada
  • Know where to go and who to talk to when you need support

  • Applying for your SIN (Social Insurance Number), BC Services Card (BCID)

Health Insurance
